Rachel Harte
Acro Teacher

Rachel has trained in many dance styles such as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical and Tap and has danced at the Welland school of dancing for many years. Throughout her time at Welland, her love for dancing has grown and she furthered her training by attending an associate programme at Chantry School of Contemporary and Balletic Arts and also dance school intensives. She has gained her vocational RAD intermediate ballet and ISTD intermediate modern exams with high merit and distinction.
Rachel has much experience as a gymnast and gymnastics coach. As a gymnast, she regularly competed at county and regional level as well as representing East Midlands at the national BSGA championships. She looks forward to bringing this experience to the students of WSD through the Acrobatic Arts association to which Rachel holds qualified teacher status.
Rachel is currently undertaking the Certificate in Dance Teaching Ballet qualification with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and on completion will be a registered teacher with this renowned organisation. She especially enjoys choreographing dances for festival and show performances and seeing them come together. Rachel’s love for dance is shown through her dedication and hard work. She looks forward to meeting her students and encouraging enjoyment as well as improving technique in her classes.
