Lesley Gramegna
AISTD Member of RAD, Ballet and Tap and Modern Teacher
Miss Lesley teaches ballet classes.
Lesley started ballet classes at the age of 2, first with Helen Card and then with Elizabeth Harrison in Watford. At the age of 16 Lesley trained at Bird College of Theatre Dance for 3 years and went on to dance professionally abroad, mainly in Italy. During the 80s aerobics boom she started teaching and doing demonstration tours around northern Italy. She then went on to teach modern, tap and jazz, before returning to England in 1985 and attending Harrison College again.
Lesley has taught at schools in Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Neots, Sawtry, Peterborough and Yaxley, and joined the Welland School of Dancing in 2008.
In addition to dance school shows and festivals, she has directed and choreographed an annual musical for Westwood Musical Society, at the Key Theatre, Peterborough for 15 years.
Miss Lesley is an associate member of ISTD in Ballet, Modern, Tap and National branches and a member of RAD.
