Miss Jen teaches Ballet, Modern and Tap

Jennifer is a graduate the Royal Academy of Dance CBTS  (certificate in ballet teaching studies) program, having done her practical teaching units here at Welland School of Dancing since 2018.

Jennifer has a number of years of experience as a professional dancer from international cruise lines, UK hotels to Christmas spectaculars. She also works as a choreographer/assistant choreographer for a renowned cruise line providing exciting on board entertainment. Jennifer studied musical theatre at the prestigious London Studio Centre and also trained with the Royal Ballet on the associate program. As a student Jennifer participated in numerous festivals and championships around the UK. At the age of 13 Jennifer won the (TDCI) British junior ballet and modern championships, she then went on to win the senior ballet championship for 3 consecutive years. Jennifer held many other title including north and north west junior and senior ballet and modern champion and English senior modern champion. Jennifer was also a finalist in the All England Young Dancer of the year, and gained her ISTD Advanced Tap and Modern with Distinction.

 

Jennifer has a great passion for dance and now make bespoke classical tutu’s for the UK festival scene. 

 

Jennifer who likes to be called “Miss Jen” is very excited to be joining the Welland School of Dancing team and can’t wait to meet the students that she hasn’t already met.
