Gemma Jackson
2005
Gemma left the Welland School of Dance in 2005 to pursue her career as a professional dancer. She was offered a full time scholarship at Cambridge performing Arts on the musical theatre course, where she studied for four years.
Before and after graduating Gemma has worked in all aspects of the performing world. She has starred in the Westend productions of Westside Story playing the role of ‘Minnie’ and Guys N Dolls as a ‘Hotbox Girl’. She has done various music videos, charity events and movie premiers, including James Bond and working with the cast of Hollyoaks. For the last five years Gemma has been traveling in and out of Australia working as a Dance Captain/singer/dancer for Grayboy Entertainment. She worked on all ships in the fleet and throughly loved her time at sea. She is now retired from the arts world but still teaches and loves to pass on her passion and knowledge of performing arts.
